NVIDIA Blackwell Powers Global GeForce NOW Cloud Gaming

NVIDIA has completed the global deployment of its Blackwell architecture upgrade for GeForce NOW, bringing RTX 5080-class servers to all regions including the final addition of Stockholm. The infrastructure enhancement enables Ultimate members to stream games at 5K resolution with 120 frames per second, reaching up to 360 fps for competitive titles. According to Sean Haran, head of partnerships and licensing at NVIDIA, this marks the achievement of true next-generation cloud gaming that 'truly goes everywhere.' The upgrade supports advanced ray tracing and AI-powered graphics across nearly any device, from ultrawide displays to handhelds running at 90 fps. High-dynamic-range support and compatibility with racing wheels expand the gaming experience beyond traditional setups. The service now streams over 4,000 games through its Install-to-Play feature, eliminating hardware limitations for blockbuster titles. Members can experience enhanced visual fidelity in games like Cyberpunk 2077 with cinematic-quality graphics at 2.8x higher bitrates. NVIDIA is celebrating the global rollout with a Community Video Contest, offering participants the chance to win Ultimate memberships and buddy passes by submitting gameplay clips. The celebration extends to in-game rewards including an ECHO-4 drone skin for Borderlands 2 and a Bloody Prince Outfit for Guild Wars 2's Visions of Eternity expansion. Capcom adds nine titles to the cloud gaming lineup this week, joining recent additions like The Crew Motorfest and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy. The service continues expanding its library through GFN Thursdays, with new titles arriving weekly. Chromebook users receive a special offer of one year of Priority membership with no ads or waiting queues, providing access to 2,000 Ready-to-Play games. Battlefield 6's Season 1: California Resistance update transforms luxury environments into combat zones with new maps, factions, and vehicles including the Golf Cart on the Eastwood MP map. The update introduces reactive destruction and weather events that create unpredictable gameplay scenarios. All supported titles maintain high-fidelity streaming without downloads through NVIDIA's cloud infrastructure.
